If you haven’t discovered colloidal silver yet, check out this video to get an idea of just how many uses there are for it!
Colloidal silver is simply tiny particles of naturally occuring silver suspended in a liquid, typically distilled water. It has been used in healing for a long time, but was quickly brushed away with the discovery of antibiotics, due to its inability to be patented.
I absolutely love colloidal silver and just like coconut oil, there are literally hundreds of different ways to use it. I believe that it belongs in everyone’s natural medicine cabinet!
I have tried several different brands and they are NOT all created equal. I feel like the most success I have had is with Nature’s Sunshine Silver Shield, pictured on right, which you can purchase through this link. (Yes, I am an affiliate.)
It can be a bit pricey, but well worth the cost. There is another option as well, and that is making it at home. The supplies are relatively inexpensive and when you divide it down to price per batch, it is much cheaper than buying it.

In my household, my 16 year old wrestler uses colloidal silver more than any of us. He takes it orally daily to build up his immune system and also uses it topically.
Another favorite use in my household is for eye infections. I put a few drops in both eyes anytime that it seems like an infection may be coming on. I do this a few times a day and it works wonders, My cat even gets in on the action.
Great uses! I have used it for eye infections also, even in my dog. Works great
Absolutely. My newest use is for an ear infection. I will let you know how it goes.
Can’t wait to hear! Please keep me posted.
I love colloidal silver! I was really skeptical when I first heard about it, but I did some research and tried it. Now I’m a believer! I liked it so much I bought my own silver generator, it works great and saves a lot of money.
I haven’t tried making it at home, but will eventually. Life is crazy right now, but as soon as I get the chance I’m going to. Glad to hear you’ve had a positive experience with it!
