Welcome to the tour! I was invited to be a part of this great group of bloggers inspiring others through their words. Amanda from Busy Mama 911 invited me and if you’re a fellow busy mom, then you’ve got to check out her site.
She posts great recipes, offers giveaways for really cool stuff like gorgeous hair pins from Lilla Rose and she encourages other women to make the most of their precious time. You will love her site!! I am honored and so grateful for being invited by Amanda, a truly unique and loving woman.
The Writing Process Blog Tour
The Blog Tour Works like this:
Get invited by an awesome blogger like Amanda who wants to know more about your writing process!
Answer 4 Questions about you’re writing process. Mine were:
1. What are you working on? I just recorded an interview with the lovely Christine Young for The Mind Body School which is going to feature experts on natural health subjects talking about how to increase your energy (me!), feel better, look better, and be healthier and happier.
I am also working on setting up podcasts relating to the use of essential oils, so look for those in the near future from Natural Apple!
2. How does my work differ from others of its genre? I’m certified as a Nutrition Consultant, Holistic Health Practitioner, Master Herbalist and Weight Management Coach and I also coach clients in these areas so a lot of my writing comes not only from how my experiences have led to the information I blog about, but how it helped others as well.
3. Why do I write what I write? I truly have a passion for helping others live a healthier life and that is what I write about- how to live healthier in all aspects of your being- body, mind and soul. My goal is to help expose readers to info that they may not be able to find anywhere else and to open their minds to how great life can be when you are holistically healthy
4. How does my writing process work? I have an ongoing list of topics I’d like to write about, but honestly, the way it typically works is that I am struck by inspiration from something that happened to me one day or something that a client is struggling with so it is on my mind and in my heart. We are all in this together, so I know that if one person is struggling with changing their eating habits or dealing with negative thought patterns that there are probably a lot more who are managing through silently. I usually just start typing and organize and reorganize my thoughts as I go while I’m in my blogging platform and then hit “Publish.” I will admit, sometimes I am so anxious to get a message across that it’s only after I post something that I go back and edit it. It’s an imperfect world and sometimes my blog is an imperfect blog even though I’m a writer. I have learned to let go of perfection.
Invite 2-3 other bloggers to the tour who’s writing process you’d like to learn about and have them share a bit about themselves and their blog with your readers. I have chosen two AbFab ladies- Laura Moreira and Elise Cohen Ho.
Laura Moreira is a speech therapist and children’s author. She is the author of There Once Was A Kid Who… Limericks for Fun, Speech and Reading Fluency. Laura is currently working on a series of stories about kids who “go to speech.”
Elise Cohen Ho
Elise Cohen Ho, PhDc, HHP is an expert in holistic health (mental, physical and emotional) and support of the family unit, as well as support of the individual. As a Natural Health Therapist, Business Mentor, Author and Motivational Speaker she wants every person to understand that they bring incredible POWER to the world with their amazing and unique gifts.
